What are Teammates?
Teammates are all other users within the account, the teammates tab within the People App is like having a company employee directory and can be used to quickly message or call one of your teammates.
How can I access Teammates?
You can access your teammates by selecting the People App form the left navbar and selecting the Teammates tab.
Who can use the Teammates?
Teammates can be used by any user in the company.
2. Using the Teammates tab
Overview
Once you select the Teammates tab you will see a list of users including yourself, when you select any of them the details will appear on the right section, this information includes first and last name, personal phone number, email and extension. You can also call or message the teammate directly by selecting any of the buttons located below their name.
Calling a Teammate
To call a teammate, just click on the Call icon, and it will ring them, on all their registered devices, which can include the mobile app, my.phone.com, and a desk phone if it’s connected.
Message a Teammate
You cannot message a teammate at this time using My.Phone.com, unless they have a dedicated number associated with them. We will add the ability to message a teammate who doesn’t have a dedicated number in the near future.
